The Director, Supply Chain and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Operations will support the development of the North America market supply chain solution, ensuring adequate inventory is available and supplied for patient use. The role uses data to synthesize information in support of Trade partner activity and leads daily relationships with Ipsen’s 3PL provider across all functions related to Trade customer needs and health‑care or patient needs under 3PL influence.

• Act as the primary liaison with Global Supply Chain and manage domestic and global commercial and clinical inventory, clinical trial materials, and commercial supply production planning at U.S. affiliate sites.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of day‑to‑day 3PL operations, ensuring inventories are viable and managing daily interaction between 3PL Customer Service and Ipsen.
• Coordinate special needs and requests to meet patient and customer demands; review and manage daily financial, product, and logistical flows.

• Analyze product demand, flow, inventory, replenishment process, and lead times.
• Interface with appropriate Trade and Medical personnel to manage complex issues and coordinate special deliverables.
• Maintain proficiency in SAP and other systems to ensure accurate data flows.
• Work with Data Aggregator and Interpretation partners to manage Trade‑specific data deliverables derived from the 3PL.
• Build and present 3PL scorecards measuring performance against contract.
• Support Trade Account Directors with business analysis to ensure optimal product distribution and contractual performance.
• Integrate Trade customer inventory levels in customer warehouses with the goal of understanding impact on 3PL inventory and Supply Chain orders.
• Assist Sr. Director, Trade in managing Finance requests related to product purchasing trends.
• Review field intelligence data and discuss appropriate inventory changes with Sr. Director, Trade.
• Recommend process enhancements for shipping and/or packaging.
• Review, approve or deny initial customer returns.
• Approve disposition requests for product destruction.
• Understand sample fulfillment process and ensure valid sample requests are fulfilled per Ipsen shipping requirements.
• Provide go/no‑go shipping directions on all in‑climate weather impacting Ipsen product and coordinate contingency plans with Trade and 3PL.

• BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of pharmaceutical experience, including a minimum of 3 years in trade and/or channel/supply chain operations.
• 3PL management experience.
• Production management, sales and operations planning.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution channel operations and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage large data sets, advanced spreadsheet functions, and work with analytics vendors to deliver actionable insights.

The annual base salary range for this position is $177,000 to $260,000. This job is eligible to participate in a short‑term incentives program.
