Join the University of California, Berkeley as a Development Coordinator in the Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) unit to provide administrative support and project management to the team.
Responsibilities- Arrange and support team meetings with scheduling, agenda preparation, note-taking and follow-up tracking.
- Assist with DAR team projects, including collaboration on DAR initiatives and donor research.
- Serve as primary liaison for the team with the Dean’s Office and manage calendaring for donor visits and special projects.
- Collaborate with Prospect Research to ensure data capture for gift officers, including contact reports and donor background information.
- Manage mass uploads of donor activity for major gift officers and develop expertise in CADS and associated fundraising reports and tools.
- Coordinate team retreats, building activities and provide logistical support for major donor visits on campus and off‑campus visits to corporate donor offices.
- Draft briefing materials and reports for donor visits involving the Dean or senior staff.
- Arrange international and domestic travel booking for gift officers and compile necessary itinerary materials.
- Complete travel reimbursements, organize digital filing systems, and maintain inventory of specialty branded items for gift officers.
- Assist with general in‑office reception duties and provide overflow support to the DAR team.
- Actively contributes to a team environment that fosters belonging and exemplifies Haas’ defining leadership principles.
- Organizational and time‑management skills to perform multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and communicate with partners and customers.

- Availability for occasional evenings, weekends; overtime compensated per UC policy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to build positive working relationships.
- Knowledge of fundraising and donor‑relations concepts, principles and practices.
- Experience with Cal Advancement Data System (CADS) or similar database.
The sponsored hourly range is $30.58 (Step 1) to $40.98 (Step 14). The position is a full‑time (40 hrs/week) career role eligible for UC Benefits. See the University of California Compensation & Benefits website for details.
