- Independently manage admissions database systems processing (e.g., UNITE) for incoming J.D. applications.
- Ensure all materials related to the application process—apps, fee waiver requests, supplemental materials—are received, processed, evaluated, and updated accurately.
- Maintain smooth review process, updating systems, reports, or processes as needed.
- Design systems and reports with the Data Systems Analyst, responding to internal and external inquiries.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and collaborate on large‑scale projects to improve data visualization.
- Lead annual updates to the J.D. application, coordinating with Financial Aid, Student Academic Advising, Graduate Division, etc., and oversee mapping changes.
- Audit changes to ensure proper application functioning.
- Update application instructions and website in coordination with leadership.
- Coordinate data transfers between admissions databases and campus systems (e.g., SIS).
- Recommend process enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Review current database and system processes for alignment with office policies.
- Serve as primary contact for outside vendors specific to admissions.
- Evaluate office needs, recommend tools, and lead technology integration with IT.
- Collaborate with the Data Systems Analyst to launch admissions projects (e.g., Early Decision agreements, GRE/GMAT forms, supplemental gift aid).
- Communicate with applicants regarding status, update records, and audit files.
- Plan timetables and identify benchmarks within the application cycle.
- Identify and communicate issues to leadership.
- Send high‑stakes messages (fee waiver decisions, admissions decisions) to applicants.
- Assist with annual updates to admissions web content and manage admissions email inboxes.
- Help revise departmental communications plan annually.
- Work with Communications to produce print materials and ensure critical deadlines met.
- Provide outreach and recruitment communication and support.
- Advise applicants on requirements, scheduling, financial aid, and career opportunities.
- Perform recruitment activities, write materials, represent the school at events.
- Plan visits to schools, give presentations, and collect data for events.
- Assist in event planning and yield modeling.
- Generate candidate referral queries and streamline recruitment technology.
- Coordinate with DAR for alumni‑student contact programs.
- Process fee waiver requests and coordinate with IT.
- Support survey deployment and data collection for gift aid review.
- Generate reports for gift aid review.
- Compile communications for award letters.
- Review applicant files and recommend admissions decisions using holistic review guidelines.
- Consult with senior staff on complex applications.
- Engage in professional development as needed.
- Perform additional duties within scope of classification as assigned.
- Highly advanced interpersonal and communication skills.

The budgeted annual salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $80,200.00 - $94,300.00.
This is a full‑time (40 hours/week) and exempt monthly‑paid position eligible for UC Benefits.
