School Occupational Therapist | Berkeley, California

Make a meaningful impact while leveraging your expertise in occupational therapy! This contract assignment is perfect for enthusiastic and credentialed Occupational Therapists looking to enhance students school experiences through direct or teletherapy services. Beginning August 13, 2025, and running through June 10, 2026, youll work closely with a diverse student population ranging in age from 5 to 22, providing vital support to foster engagement and success in the school environment.

With a flexible workload of 0.8 FTE (and opportunities to increase up to full-time), this assignment offers valuable experience in a collaborative and supportive setting.

• Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
• Expertise in school-based OT, including both in-person and teletherapy modalities
• Familiarity with age-appropriate intervention strategies for students ages 522
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Utilize teletherapy and/or onsite delivery models as appropriate
• Adapt treatment approaches for a broad age range and diverse needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student participation and progress
• Complete timely documentation and required reports
• Participate in virtual panel interviews via Zoom
