Position: Part‑Time Driver

Schedule: Sunday – Tuesday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Pay Range: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of residents and their belongings onto and off community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles and comply with vehicle inspection and driving standards.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings, excursions, and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possess written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including a physical and TB tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination and daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing PPE to prevent the spread of COVID‑19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
