Program Manager

A Program Manager opportunity has opened at 3M, and we'd love to find someone who's genuinely excited about it. For someone with 7 years and a community-minded edge, this Program Manager job offers $143,000 - $220,000 and real upward mobility.

• Bring 6 of general instinct to problems the playbook misses
• Juggle collaborative priorities without dropping the ones that matter
• Translate manager objectives into concrete, actionable day-to-day steps
• Carry general knowledge that doesn't live in any wiki yet
• Sense when a Berkeley relationship needs a call, not an email
• Refuse to let Collaboration debt quietly accumulate on your watch

• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy
• An instinct for prioritization when everything is labeled urgent
• Proven Creativity judgment when the textbook answer doesn't fit
• A point of view, held loosely and defended well
• Working understanding of both Analytical Thinking and Attention to Detail in real-world settings
• Solid understanding of general best practices and industry standards
• Enough People Management to be dangerous, enough Creativity to be trusted

3M is what happens when endlessly-iterating engineers in Berkeley decide that good enough is the enemy of great Self-Motivation. Collaboration over heroics is our default, and we'd rather win as a group than burn anyone out.

The bottom line: $143,000 - $220,000, mentorship, benefits, and flexibility, wrapped into a Program Manager role that grows as fast as you do.

Hot off the queue today, 3M wants to hear from you this week.

Got 6 of general experience itching for a new home? This is the door.
