Location: Berkeley, CA

Pay Range: $110K-$120K

• Communicate with community healthcare professionals, including physicians, discharge planners, nurses, and state agencies on residents’ care needs.
• Coordinate incidental medical, dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care.
• Perform nursing duties in accordance with the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, including administering medications and performing treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Oversee and provide training for Medication Technicians.
• Administer resident pre‑admission assessment prior to move‑in and complete routine/needs reassessments per company policy and state regulations.
• Interview potential residents and families, obtain medical records and other required documentation for admission.
• Conduct staff interviews and observe residents to detect changes in health, reporting to the Executive Director and others as needed.

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with valid California nursing license in good standing.
• Preferred 2+ years in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Preferred 1+ year supervising and managing employees.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid RCFE license.
• Ability to teach and train staff effectively.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office.
• Must pass a criminal background clearance before starting.
• Highly motivated, self‑directed, and able to work independently.
• Must hold valid first aid and CPR certification.
• Pass health screening including physical and TB tests.
• Understand and comply with COVID‑19 preventive measures as mandated.
