Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a current CA RN license and at least three years of recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in an ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Patient care involves critically ill adults
- Day shift with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend and as needed by the unit
- On-call requirements as needed
- May float to other units or campuses (Summit or Herrick) within scope of practice, with shuttle provided if floating between campuses
- RTO limited to approval of only one holiday off
- Flexibility required for float assignments with 1.5 hours advance notice in most cases
- Shuttle transportation available for staff floating to other campuses
- Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting assignment
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent RN ICU experience
- Candidates must have traveled as a nurse for more than one year
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Former staff may only return after a minimum one-year gap
