Lead Subsystems Structural Analysis Engineer
Join Boeing to lead structural analysis for Air Dominance Team supporting F‑15 Eagle & F/A‑18 Super Hornet in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities- Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models, and analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support in‑service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.
- Construct and review Environmental Control Systems (ECS) aircraft subsystem analysis.
- Construct and review Fuel, Hydraulic, and Secondary Power aircraft subsystem analysis.
- Work within NASTRAN, PATRAN, Hypermesh, and Mechanica Finite Element Analysis applications.
- Work within 2D drawing and 3D model based design definition.
- Train and coach others.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences.
- 9 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Experience with Fuel, Hydraulic, and ECS aircraft subsystem strength analysis.
- Experience with fatigue and fracture analysis.
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
- Experience with landing gear and mechanisms subsystems.
- NX 3D or similar Solid Modeling skills.
- Boeing Stress Check application experience.
- Teamcenter or similar Product Lifecycle Management experience.
- F‑15 and/or F/A‑18 experience.
