The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Project Engineer in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities- Provides execution leadership to a team representing multiple engineering skill areas led by subject matter experts.
- Understands leadership intentions and ensures that execution aligns with that intent.
- Activities will include internal and external resources and customers.
- Coordinates the development of statements of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
- Maintains excellent situational awareness and responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.
- Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics.
- Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.
- Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.
- Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
- Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.
- Works under minimal direction.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry (e.g. Bachelor), and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- 10 years of prior experience managing the execution of a large complex multi-faceted technical solution spanning multiple technical areas (e.g.: schedule, risk, budget, resources, technical interface and integration).
- Strong Microsoft Project Skills.
- Experience supporting executive level briefings
- Familiarity with various command and control theories and application
- Decision Quality theory and application
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with full-sized determinant assembly, determinant assembly, fabrication of machined structures including inspection and coatings.

Summary Pay Range:
Level 4: $136,850 - $185,150
