The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Experienced-Senior) for the Flight Simulation Labs - Hardware Interface Systems team located in Berkeley, MO .

The Flight Simulation Labs organization has expertise supporting marketing, design, development, integration, test and training objectives for Boeing military aircraft.

As an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer (Experienced-Senior), you will create and implement solutions to complex problems that support design, development, and execution of simulation environments in development labs for the F-15 Israel program. This position will support the project execution for the full product design life cycle including: requirements, design, acceptance test procedures, and associated engineering maintenance support. This position is expected to be 100% onsite and engaged with our customers and the product.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

• Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

• Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.

• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

• Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

• Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

• Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• Level 3: 5+ years of work related experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of work related experience and technical education

• Level 4: 9+ years of work related experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of work related experience and technical education

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Electrical engineering experience

• Experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role

• Experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems

• Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA

• Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
