Phantom Works Proprietary Structural Design Engineer (Experienced/Senior)
At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. Our Phantom Works Division is hiring Experienced and Senior Structural Design Engineers for an advanced aircraft development program located in Berkeley, MO

- Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
- Develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3‑D Computer Aided Design tools or other design methods, providing product definition to engineering, production, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Perform tests to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Manage supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinate with suppliers to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
- Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or a related field (engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science).
- Level 3: 5+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or Level 4: 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s, 7+ years with a Master’s, or 4+ years with a PhD.
- Experience with 3‑D solid modeling software, including Unigraphics.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is considered active, and a Top Secret/SCI Clearance is required post‑start. The candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Level 3 — $90,100 – $121,900;
Level 4 — $113,050 – $152,950.
