The Boeing Company’s Specialized United States Infrastructure Operations organization is currently seeking a Senior Dev Ops Developer to join the team in Berkeley, MO
.

The U.S. Specialized Infrastructure team is seeking a visionary leader in cloud transformation to support our Air Dominance (AD) program and drive its success! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating innovative Dev Sec Ops  patterns with an "automate everything" mindset, ensuring that our cloud initiatives are efficient and secure.

As both an individual contributor and a leader, you will guide a talented team of senior and junior Dev Sec Ops  developers. Your initial focus will be on cloud migrations, transitioning into cloud optimization and implementing Cloud First strategies.

We are looking for a passionate individual who is dedicated to creating and maintaining a secure operating environment across various cloud service providers. By leveraging automation technologies, you will help build and sustain infrastructure, computing systems, and applications through a robust Dev Sec Ops  pipeline. Position Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for COTS and custom-built applications
• Integrate Dev Sec Ops  tools to automate security checks and vulnerability assessments within the CI/CD pipeline
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product teams, to ensure security is embedded in all phases of the application lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Dev Sec Ops  practitioners, promoting best practices in automation, security, and cloud operations
• Enhance operational security by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Participate in Agile SAFE ceremonies, providing input on security and automation best practices
• Strong understanding of networking and network security concepts (e.g., VPC, subnets, VPNs, NACLs, Security Groups)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD processes, security tools, and operational security
• Provide training and guidance to teams on CI/CD, Dev Sec Ops , and operational security best practices
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements through automated checks and controls
• Document and maintain CI/CD workflows, security protocols, and operational procedures

• 3+ years of experience with Development Operations (Dev Ops)
• 3+ years of experience with scripting programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar
• 3+ years of experience with Dev Ops software including Gitlab, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, Azure Dev Ops Pipelines, Git Hub, AWS Code Build, AWS Code Pipelines, AWS Code Guru
• 3+ years of experience with Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)
• 3+ years of experience working within an Agile development team
• 1+ years of experience in integrating security tools like SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and automation tools (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Chef etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Current certifications such as AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, CISSP, or Docker Certified Associate
• Experience containerization and cloud orchestration tools (Tanzu, Open Shift, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST 800-53)
• Experience with network security and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Experience with serverless architectures and associated security challenges
