We’re seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative individual to lead and support the existing capabilities of an agile software program in the Phantom Works organization.

• Architect Cloud Solutions:
  Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based architectures (Amazon Web Services or Azure) that align with business objectives and enhance operational capabilities; lead the migration from on-premises to cloud-based solutions.
• Dev Ops Strategy Development:
  Lead development of a comprehensive Dev Ops strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring solutions to streamline software delivery and improve deployment frequency.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including development, operations, and product management, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Optimization and Waste Reduction:
  Utilize industrial engineering principles to analyze existing systems and processes, identifying areas for optimization and waste reduction to improve overall efficiency; define, collect, analyze, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) for software delivery and team execution.
• Technical Leadership:
  Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement; lead the effort to develop best practices and methodologies for software development, deployment, and operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, present architectural designs, and provide updates on project progress.
• Research and Development:
  Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and Dev Ops, applying this knowledge to enhance our solutions.

• 15+ years total experience
• 5+ years in software architecture focused on cloud solutions and Dev Ops practices
• 10 years leading software teams or projects
• 10 years in automated provisioning and configuring of software‑defined infrastructure, designing for continuous deployment and continuous operations
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins) and practices, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related disciplines
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical and strategic thinking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in industrial engineering or process optimization
• Experience with AWS or Azure Gov Cloud
• Security+ certification

10% travel
