This role will support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization within the T-7 Mission Systems Software team, focusing on the design, development, testing, and maintenance of operational flight program (OFP), vehicle management systems (VMS), and other Mission Systems‑related software for the T‑7 aircraft.

Position Responsibilities

• Supports the design, development, test, and maintenance of non‑embedded software throughout the end‑to‑end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
• Supports development, maintenance, enhancement and optimization of software products and functionalities for systems integrations.
• Supports development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Supports debugging and resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Supports development, establishment, monitoring and improvement of software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
• Works under general supervision.
• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains non‑embedded software throughout the end‑to‑end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.
• Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.
• Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
• Develops, establishes, monitors and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
• Serves as subject matter expert for software domains, system‑specific issues, processes and regulations.
• Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience)

• 2+ years of experience with programming languages: C, C++, C#, Python.
• 2+ years of experience working in a multi‑tasking environment while supporting multiple concurrent activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
• Ability to obtain special program access.
• Experience programming in C++.
• Experience developing embedded real‑time software.
• Experience with Agile software development.
