We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Associate, Experienced & Senior) to join the F-15 Mission System Software Development Team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to design and implement new capabilities in the F-15 Operational Flight Program (OFP) for both the United States Air Force (USAF) and international customers.

The candidate will join one of the multi-discipline Agile scrum teams that develop, integrate, and maintain a wide range of aircraft functionalities. Software capabilities will be developed for the Advanced Display Core Processor II (ADCP II), the brains of the Eagle. The successful candidate will implement and test new cutting‑edge capabilities and integrate them with a variety of other aircraft subsystems.

• Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
• Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, execute the test procedures and document test results to ensure software system requirements are met
• Execute and document software research and development projects
• Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system‑specific issues, processes and regulations
• Troubleshoot software issues
• Work under general direction

• 2+ years of experience with professional software development
• 2+ years of experience in C/C++, Ada, and/or a similar object‑oriented programming language
• 2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree
• Agile/SAFe development experience
• Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Git Lab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Desirable programming languages include:
  Ada, C, C++, Python
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
• Experience developing embedded real‑time software
• Experience working with Real‑time Operating Systems (RTOS)
