Back-End Software Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level or Senior)

Position Responsibilities- Master your craft and learn continuously.
- Work with a team to shape the architecture of several web applications.
- Build new and expand existing infrastructure for multi‑application communications, logging, alerts, authentication, configuration, and more.
- Create test‑suites for server applications to verify reliability, performance, and behavior.
- Collaborate to make decisions that affect the entire system.
- Interface with users and developers to define and implement solutions that meet requirements.
- Prototype features and applications independently or with a team.
- Communicate effectively to align team processes with needs.
- 2+ years of experience with backend development (Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, SQL Server).
- 2+ years of experience in either GoLang or Java.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Level 3: 3+ years’ related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Level 4: 5+ years’ related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret U.S. Security Clearance (post‑start).
- 2+ years strong skills in software engineering and architecture, including object‑oriented design and concurrent programming.
- 2+ years working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks:
NodeJS, React
JS. - Experience with Kafka, NiFi, Redis, or Rabbit
MQ. - Experience with Git Lab, Git Lab Runner, CI/CD.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs for complex datasets.
- Exposure to Agile process.
- Experience leading projects.
- AWS cloud experience.
- Understanding of microservices, client‑server architecture, event‑driven architecture, domain‑driven design (DDD), and other modern architectural styles.
- Experience in large‑scale software system architecture, design, and development of distributed/on‑premises end‑to‑end scalable software.
Occasional travel may be required (less than 10%).

Pay & BenefitsCompetitive base pay and variable compensation. Eligible employees may enroll in health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time away.
Pay ranges:
Associate Level $96,050 – $129,950;
Experienced Level $119,000 – $161,000;
Senior Level $146,200 – $197,800.

Export Control RequirementsThis position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 120.62 is required.
RelocationRelocation based on candidate eligibility.
Security ClearanceAbility to obtain U.S. Security Clearance required (U.S. Citizenship required). Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post‑start required.
