We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a popular primary school in Berkhamsted. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

The role:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils across different ability levels
Assist with planning, preparation of learning materials, and classroom organisation
Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
Support pupils' social and emotional development, as well as academic progress
Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to support pupil achievement

The ideal candidate will:

Have proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting (essential)
Be confident supporting phonics, reading, writing, and maths at primary level
Be proactive, reliable, and able to adapt to the needs of the class and individual pupils
Show patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping children reach their potential
Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
