Location: Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £34,398 £ 52,490
Do you have a passion for supporting children with SEND? A Berkhamsted school is seeking a SEN Teacher to provide tailored learning and one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs.
The Role at a Glance- Deliver personalised teaching plans for SEN pupils
- Support students social, emotional, and academic development
- Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure inclusive learning
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons
- Implement interventions to support individual learning goals
- Work closely with teaching assistants and external specialists
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Patient, nurturing, and creative
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
