An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a diligent and self‑motivated graduate science technician within a well‑known Redbridge based secondary school. You must have a recent Science related degree, have relevant lab‑based experience (this could include experience during your university course). A passion for science and the ability to pass this onto young learners.

Their curriculum is crafted to meet the demands of the national curriculum and beyond, to develop a love of learning in each subject. Their teachers believe that ensuring students enjoy learning will also encourage them to dig deeper, explore further and develop their own interest and motivation to learn more. Beyond the classroom, they believe they can enrich the experience and maximise the talent in every student;

the breadth of activities on offer encourages students of all ages to get involved.

• Recent Science graduate (Graduated in the last 2 years)
• Right to work in the UK
• Available immediately
• An up to date enhanced DBS (or willing to process one for 63)

The main purpose of this role is to support the Science department in all aspects of practical work and demonstrations; this is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly and professional environment. The ideal person will have good scientific knowledge and a keen interest in working in a busy school environment, a flexible approach and be willing to actively seek to develop their own learning to enhance the service delivered.
