We're looking for a commercially minded, analytically sharp Finance Business Partner to own the financial performance of our global Retail channel and act as a trusted partner to our sales teams. You'll use your experience in previous Retail Finance roles to bring rigour and accountability to our budgets and forecasts, trade investment decisions and retailer / country P&Ls.

• Own the end-to-end financial performance of the global Retail channel across all markets including all commercial insight, budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring correct allocation of revenue and costs to the channel.
• Work closely with the management accounts team to ensure accurate recording of trade and promotional spend and channel-specific costs in each Retail market, and to understand variances to budgets and forecasts.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process from a Finance perspective, working closely with the Sales teams and covering gross revenue, trade spend and direct Retail marketing spend.
• Partner the Sales teams providing financial insight and challenge on revenue outlooks, planned promotional activity, marketing spend, retailer negotiations, and new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain retailer P&Ls, giving clear visibility of profitability by account, market, and product.
• Own market-level Retail P&Ls and work with teams across the business to create and drive roadmaps for improvement.
• Build financial models to support business cases for new products / retailers / markets.
• Work closely with the data team to ensure we have robust reporting for all Retail markets to inform decision making.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities within the Retail P&L as they arise and suggest opportunities to mitigate risks.

This role is best suited to a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years post-qualified experience. You will also have:

• Proven business partnering experience supporting Retail trading teams
• Strong understanding of retail commercial mechanics including trade investment, promotional spend, retailer P&Ls, and margin management.
• Confident communicator who can engage and influence senior non-finance stakeholders
• Commercially curious and takes a genuine interest in the business beyond the numbers
• Highly analytical with the ability to build financial models to the appropriate level of complexity and explain outputs simply and clearly
• Thrives (yet remains calm) when there’s a lot going on and able to juggle competing demands
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to set your own direction without waiting to be told what to do
• Actively curious about how AI is changing finance, and already thinking about how to use it

Hybrid working
- We spend Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office together. The remaining two days have the option to be worked from home.
