Fram is working with a regulated financial services firm that is looking to engage with a Compliance Officer & Deputy MLRO to support its compliance and financial crime function. The role offers broad exposure across regulatory compliance, financial crime, client onboarding, and risk management within a fast-paced and growing business. The position combines day-to-day compliance responsibilities with Deputy MLRO duties, supporting the firm's anti-money laundering framework and wider regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities include overseeing client onboarding and KYC processes, conducting enhanced due diligence, reviewing higher-risk transactions, supporting suspicious activity reporting, and helping ensure the business continues to operate within its regulatory and risk framework. Alongside financial crime responsibilities, the role includes supporting compliance monitoring, Consumer Duty, complaints handling, client money controls, sanctions screening, and the ongoing development of policies and procedures.

There is regular interaction with senior management, with the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the firm's compliance function. This may appeal to someone with compliance and financial crime experience gained within a regulated financial services environment, particularly payments, foreign exchange, banking, fintech, or a related sector. Previous experience supporting AML frameworks, customer due diligence, sanctions controls, and regulatory compliance will be important.
