Position Summary
Digital & IT Technical Specialist (People Soft).
Location:
Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 remote);
Hours:
Full time, 37.5 hours per week;
Duration:
Permanent.
Parker's IT function plays a critical role in enabling business performance and innovation, with a strong focus on delivering secure, efficient and scalable solutions across HR and business operations.
Responsibilities- Maintain and support a complex HR technology environment, including a high volume of system integrations across multiple platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform code fixes and ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Design, develop and implement People Soft solutions, interfaces and integrations.
- Support ongoing system improvements and optimisation initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions across global teams.
- Provide support for IT service requests and contribute to project-based work streams.
- Strong experience working with Oracle People Soft
- Proven technical expertise in:
- People Tools & People Code
- XML, SQL / PL-SQL
- Integration Broker
- SFTP & REST APIs
- Java Script
- Application Designer & Application Engines
- Experience developing and maintaining system integrations and interfaces.
- Good understanding of IT systems, architecture and lifecycle management.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
