Production Technician / Mechanical Assembly Technician
Tring, Hertfordshire (Commutable from: Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Berkhamsted, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, Luton, Watford, Chesham)
£28,000 - £33,000 + Overtime at time and a half + Flexible Hours + Alternate Fridays off + Job Security + Long-Term Stability
39 Hours, Mon-Fri, Flexible start/end time and option to have alternate Fridays off

You will be joining a recognised manufacturer known for quality and attention to detail. Due to continued growth and an internal promotion, they are now looking to add an additional technician to their production team.
In this role you'll work at a bench as part of a team of 7, carrying out high-precision, low-volume assembly and test work. You'll read engineering drawings, use hand tools and measuring equipment, and complete practical tasks such as crimping, soldering and mechanical assembly.
This role would suit a Production / Assembly Technician looking for a settled, long-term position with stable hours, a good team environment and optional overtime.
The Role:
Bench-based, high-precision assembly and test
Reading engineering drawings and using hand tools / measuring equipment
Crimping, soldering and mechanical assembly as part of the build
39 hours: typically 7am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs, with 7am-12pm alternate Fridays
Two-stage interview process:
Teams followed by onsite tour and practical test
The Person :
Background in production / assembly / manufacturing (mechanical bias ideal)
Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using hand tools / measuring equipment
Basic electrical knowledge (preferred)
