Volunteer recruitment support volunteer

As a Volunteer Recruitment Support Volunteer, you’ll help us spread the word about our latest volunteer opportunities so that more people can discover how they can make a difference.

Supporting the Volunteering team, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Keeping our MS Excel spreadsheet of live volunteer opportunities up to date
• Adding, editing, and removing opportunity adverts on our website and other volunteering platforms
• Reviewing applications received via portals and updating their status as needed
• Using portals to search for potential volunteer matches
• Using MS Copilot to help write engaging posts (if you’re comfortable – we’ll show you how!)

Once trained, you’ll be able to work independently, but you’ll always have someone in the office nearby to support you.

Our Volunteering Development Advisor will train you and will be available for ongoing support. You will need to read our training book and complete two online training modules about data security.
