Stores Person​/Driver

Ultra Intelligence & Communications (Ultra I&C) currently has a vacancy for a Stores Person / Driver based in Tring.

You will be responsible for liaising with customers/suppliers regarding the drop‑off and collection of satellite communications equipment. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work within a team to ensure prompt, accurate, and efficient package distribution and collection. The working schedule is a 9‑day fortnight.

• Support the stores area
• Load and unload goods
• Packing outbound products to suppliers and customers
• Ensure goods are collected and delivered on time
• Maintain a high level of service to all internal and external customers
• Return completed Proof of Delivery sheets
• Sign receipts for courier deliveries
• Pick kits for Production
• Use the internal ICS system for stock control
• Perform other tasks as allocated by the Production Manager
• Keep stores and vehicle clean and tidy at all times
• Housekeeping in and around the site
• Deliver and collect materials and equipment to and from subcontractors
• Provide off‑site assistance for Production/Engineering at test ranges
• Operate a forklift truck on site

• Confident van driver
• Compliance with the Road Traffic Act
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC clearance

• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Previous picking and packing experience

Due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers, candidates may need to obtain the relevant security clearance or handle export‑controlled material as defined by the role’s requirements.
