Quality Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a quality engineer with a minimum of 3 years' experience in quality or manufacturing.

General Responsibilities Qualifications
  • Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires proof of US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering or related field.
  • 3 plus years relevant Quality or Manufacturing experience in Aerospace or other complex machining industry.
  • Familiarity with Aerospace Customer’s requirements.
  • Understanding of or the aptitude to understand QMS requirements in compliance with aerospace customers, AS/ISO Industry Standards.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Highly proficient in GD&T with attention to detail.
  • Prior DQR & LCS Certification a PLUS.
  • Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Internal auditing a PLUS.
  • Familiarization with CMM measurement (i.e., Zeiss Calypso) a PLUS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects to completion in a cross functional, collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • A team-oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues is an asset.
