Lead Engineer- Commissioning

• Assisting in the development of standards and procedures for the successful testing and commissioning of Transmission & Distribution (HV & MV) substation projects.
• Oversight to ensure substation projects are successfully tested and commissioned in accordance with industry and Eversource standards with a high focus on safety and human performance while maintaining system reliability.
• Project test data review, collection, and acceptance.
• Collaborating effectively with other engineers within the Engineering organization to ensure consistency and teamwork.
• Assisting in the development and/or training of less experienced team members.
• Accountable for root-cause analysis, development and implementation of corrective actions relating to project commissioning.
• Project audits to ensure safety, human performance and compliance with standards and work methods are being met.
• Performing supervisory duties as needed/as assigned.
• May require work performed outside of normal business hours.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years in utility distribution/transmission engineering required.
• Electrical engineering knowledge with a focus on substation project testing and commissioning is preferred.
• Valid CT or MA driver's license.

Work is performed in both office and field environments. Must be available to travel between CT and MA for assignments. Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required.
