IT Project Manager
IT Supervisor, Billing, Credit, & Collections (SAP)
Apply for the IT Supervisor, Billing, Credit, & Collections (SAP) role at Eversource Energy. This hybrid schedule position is based in Berlin, CT or Westwood, MA.
Essential Functions- Techno‑functional exposure/experience on SAP CIS platform with knowledge of meter‑to‑cash end‑to‑end processes (e.g. FICA, device management, customer service).
- Additional focus areas may include Agile methodology, emerging AI technologies, SAP systems, AMI advancements, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the development of technology roadmaps focused on resiliency, scalability, and long‑term business value.
- Assist in managing budgets for application maintenance, vendor services, and technology projects in partnership with the Product Line Manager.
- Evaluate root‑cause solutions to reduce technical debt and improve system stability and data integrity.
- Support contract development, vendor negotiations, and ongoing vendor management activities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, customer‑centric service, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Expertise in managing production support for mission‑critical systems with a focus on operational stability and incident resolution.
- Familiarity with SAP, mainframe, and other utility industry standards and platforms.
- Experience managing outsourced IT services and cloud/hosted vendor relationships, including SLA tracking and compliance.
- Mastery of Project Oversight and Conflict Management.
- Mastery level knowledge in information systems technologies and methodologies across mainframe, mid‑range, and PC environments.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Application Developer, Business Analyst, or the equivalent.
- Must be available for emergency restoration assignments as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA, CT, and NH as necessary.
Eligibility is based on job responsibilities. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a third day selected by the employee and supervisor. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed.
Compensation and BenefitsAnnual salary range: $ – $. Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive.
