Eversource supports work‑life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs).

In this role, you will lead a team of Energy Efficiency Consultants implementing projects for Eversource’s Commercial Business customers in Connecticut. You will provide strategy and vision to inspire and drive creative and effective solutions, ensuring high levels of customer participation and savings.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, coach, problem‑solve, and provide professional development to a team of Energy Efficiency Consultants to create and deliver effective energy‑efficiency programs that benefit business customers.
- Approach opportunities, problems, and process‑improvement initiatives creatively and generate new ideas to provide value to our valued customers.
- Oversee the overall implementation of projects for medium and large commercial, state, and government customers to ensure achievement of energy‑efficiency goals.
- Contribute to strategic roadmaps advancing sustainable energy‑efficiency practices among C&I customers across Eversource’s three‑state territory.
- Collaborate with the Director of C&I Sales and Sales Account Executives to effectively market and deliver energy‑efficiency programs.
- Select and manage qualified contractors.
- Work with stakeholders to identify, promote, and administer new and innovative approaches to blend energy‑efficiency with other initiatives and opportunities.
- Create strong working relationships and partnerships with other Eversource leaders, colleagues, Connecticut Natural Gas, Southern Connecticut Gas, and United Illuminating.
- Strong business and operations management skills, and analytical skills.
- Strong team and thought‑leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret energy‑efficiency technologies and understand their application.
- Proven success in developing staff through mentoring, education, and challenging assignments.
- Experience communicating clearly and effectively through written correspondence and presentations.
- Solid project‑management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities.
- Goal‑and‑objective driven, adept at removing obstacles and barriers while remaining collaborative with many internal and external stakeholders.
- Creative problem‑solving and idea generation to provide more value to the customer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree desirable.
- Relevant energy efficiency certifications desired.
- Seven (7) plus years’ experience, with knowledge of commercial building systems or industrial processes.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Experience in energy‑efficiency program implementation preferred.
- Experience in presentations and public speaking desired.
