Shipping & Recieving

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in basic math, computer proficiency, and a commitment to accuracy in fulfilling customer orders. This role involves working in a large warehouse environment where you will be responsible for picking, packaging, and preparing orders for shipment.

• Package orders according to customer specifications.
• Retrieve products from shelves using order forms.
• Utilize scales and basic math skills to ensure accurate shipments.
• Lift and move products weighing up to 55lbs.
• Review and pick customer orders from designated locations using power equipment.
• Pack, seal, label, and apply postage to prepare materials for shipment.

• Proficient in basic math.
• 6 months of experience in shipping.
• 6 months of experience in inventory management.
• Proficient with computers.

• Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Dependable and a team player.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.

This role is based in a large, clean warehouse with minimal distractions. The candidate will be expected to remain focused and on task throughout the shift, which involves standing for extended periods. While there are limited windows, the facility may become warm during summer months. Tasks are performed individually but contribute to the team's overall daily objectives.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berlin, CT.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
