Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing respiratory care to patients during night shifts. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being and recovery of individuals with respiratory illnesses. As an RRT, you will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders.
  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients in critical care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory disease management.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate respiratory support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to respiratory care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications - A minimum of three years of experience in an acute care environment is required.
  • Qualifications - Demonstrated high proficiency in the use of ventilators is essential.
  • Qualifications - Experience with Home Health Nursing (HHN), BiPAP, and CPAP is preferred.
  • Qualifications - Prior experience with travel assignments is highly encouraged.
  • Qualifications - Candidates must be willing to apply for a temporary New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, which has a processing timeframe of 7 to 14 days.
  • Certification Requirements - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
  • Certification Requirements - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification is required.
  • State License Requirements - A valid license from the State of New Hampshire is necessary.
