Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders.
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients in critical care.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory disease management.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate respiratory support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to respiratory care.
- Qualifications - A minimum of three years of experience in an acute care environment is required.
- Qualifications - Demonstrated high proficiency in the use of ventilators is essential.
- Qualifications - Experience with Home Health Nursing (HHN), BiPAP, and CPAP is preferred.
- Qualifications - Prior experience with travel assignments is highly encouraged.
- Qualifications - Candidates must be willing to apply for a temporary New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, which has a processing timeframe of 7 to 14 days.
- Certification Requirements - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
- Certification Requirements - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification is required.
- State License Requirements - A valid license from the State of New Hampshire is necessary.
