Maintenance Assistant

Join our team as a Maintenance Assistant supporting daily operations at our Berlin, NH facility. This hands‑on role helps maintain vehicles, shop machinery, tools, fabrication equipment, and building systems while keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.

• Assist with general maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, vehicles, and facility systems
• Perform a variety of manual labor tasks as assigned
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Stop work when needed to address safety concerns

• Experience with repair tools, shop equipment, and yard vehicles (forklifts, Combi‑Lift, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot and coordinate repair efforts efficiently
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable using technology in a paperless workflow
• Safety- and quality-focused mindset

• High school diploma or trade school equivalent (automotive/machinery maintenance preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• 1‑3 years general maintenance experience
• Fork truck / overhead crane experience or training is a plus

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive motions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperature conditions
