Senior physician in Dermatopathology or Pathology

• Board-certified dermatologist with completed subspecialty training in dermatopathology, or board-certified pathologist with expertise in dermatopathology.
• Diploma in Dermatopathology (ICDP – UEMS International Board Certification in Dermatopathology) or acquisition in the near future.
• Responsibility for providing high-quality dermatopathology.
• Application of molecular pathological diagnostics to solve dermatological and dermatopediatric requests.
• Interest in academic dermatology.
• You communicate confidently in German.
• Knowledge of French is of advantage.

• Accredited dermatopathology laboratory processing and evaluating over 20,000 skin biopsy specimens and excisions annually, including paraffin-fixed material, frozen sections (Mohs surgery), and a broad range of ancillary stains.
• Close collaboration with the Institute of Pathology, University of Bern, with access to comprehensive molecular diagnostics via the Clinical Genomics Laboratory at Inselspital.
• Recognized ICDP training center, strongly committed to education and the development of young professionals.
