The successful candidate is expected to engage actively with the IMSV and the wider University of Bern community and to strengthen connections between probability theory and other research areas. Opportunities exist for interactions through and with the Oeschger Center for Climate Change Research, the Wyss Academy for Nature, the Center of Space and Habitability, the Multidisciplinary Center for Infectious Diseases, the Department of Digital Medicine, the Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine, and others.
