We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for a Global Bio-Pharmaceutical client in Switzerland.
Are you a hands-on Project Engineer who enjoys shaping technical concepts and delivering investment projects end-to-end? In this role you will lead small to mid-sized capital projects that directly impact production and business results, owning cost, timeline and functionality from feasibility through execution.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver small and mid-sized investment projects with direct impact on production and/or business results.
- Perform process engineering calculations and drive plant optimisations.
- Lead feasibility studies for new plants and/or rebuilds of existing plants, including cost estimation, scheduling, and functional assessment.
- Plan, realise and support production adjustments and product launches.
- Develop and compare potential technical solutions, evaluating pros/cons and recommending the best option.
- Procure and organise required internal/external resources to ensure professional and on-time project delivery.
- Optimise process flows and drive implementation of solutions.
- Support structured transfer of know-how to improve sustainability of outcomes.
- Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, Bio Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong ability to apply professional engineering knowledge in day-to-day project work.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly independent, structured, and organised working style.
- Innovative, solution-oriented mindset with strong contextual understanding.
- Proven leadership skills in a matrix organisation.
- Advanced written and spoken English and German.
- High motivation and ownership.
