• Key person for all commercial and strategic activities within given Commodity and Sub-Commodities.
• Responsible for development and implementation of Commodity Strategy across the company and respective business units.
• Sourcing and nomination of suppliers within agreed quality, timing and cost targets.
• Managing an active supply base on a regular basis, providing feedback and pro-actively taking action where corrective actions are required.
• Conducting cost/price analyzes and managing VA/VE activities with suppliers.
• Management of suppliers, RFQs, contract negotiations, working capital improvements, framework contracts, supply chain agreements and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Supporting development of should cost models for given Commodity in cooperation with should cost engineering.
• Actively seeking savings potentials i.e., benchmarking and lead of Commodity supplier panel.
• Locates new sources of supply, establishes new suppliers and maintains relationships with existing suppliers.
• Facilitation of cross-functional meetings including suppliers to improve cost and delivery through design and development.
• Creation, administration and tracking of Purchase Orders.
• Monitoring possible supplier risks and reporting to wider teams with consequent escalation if needed.
• In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, the employee is expected to perform any other duties and tasks as assigned by the management.

• Automotive purchasing experience in strategic role 3+ years
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with Infor ERP
• Experience with Ivalua Supplier Portal
• Other foreign language
• Knowledge of assigned Commodity (products, technologies, market players)
• Demonstrable previous YoY savings in Commodity
