Viiala is a Swiss-based mobility company redefining what cycling stands for: from one option among many to the option people actively choose. Viiala wants to challenge and disrupt the cycling industry. Viiala is building the next generation of premium e-bikes, with R&D hubs in Switzerland and Dubai. Engineered with 95% of components sourced from Europe and the USA, Viiala also plans to assemble in Europe.
Unveiled in 2025 as part of the Honourable Merchants Group and launching its inaugural bikes in 2028, Viialaʼs first model enters a new, untapped technological and innovation-led market in the segment. More than an e-bike, it is a statement of possibility — where engineering, aesthetics, and purpose converge to create the ultimate riding experience for the cities of today and the roads of tomorrow.
We are immediately looking for a
System Engineer – Electrical and Wiring 100 %
We are looking for System Engineer – Electrical and Wiring to take ownership of the complete electrical architecture of VIIALA’s speedpedelec platform. This role is responsible for defining how all electrical components are powered and connected — from high-level system architecture down to wiring harnesses, connectors, and network topology. You will ensure that the bike’s electrical system is robust, scalable, and ready for integration, enabling all subsystems (drive, smart system, HMI, connectivity) to function as one coherent product.
This is a critical role — it is about
turning system concepts into a physically and electrically integrated product
.
- Define and own the overall electrical / electronic architecture:
- Control units and components
- Power distribution across the system
- Network topology (e.g. CAN, Ethernet)
- Ensure a coherent architecture across:
- Drive System
- Smart System
- Digital interfaces
Do you share our passion for e-bikes?
