The Government Liaison Associate at UNHCR is a member of the Government Liaison Unit, reporting to the (Senior) Government Liaison Officer. The incumbent provides guidance and participates in meetings with government and UN partners to support coordination on common processes.
Under supervision, the role involves exchanging information with UNHCR staff, government authorities and external parties, drafting notes, briefing material and reports, and assisting in risk management and mission support.
