Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced SAP & GIS Business/IT Analyst to support an interdisciplinary team at an energy company in Bern. The role focuses on analyzing, designing, and coordinating requirements related to network asset management, network operations, SAP, and GIS.

• Act as an interface between Business, IT, the SAP team, and the GIS team
• Gather and analyze requirements from the business units
• Map object structures in GIS and SAP
• Identify business requirements in the areas of network asset management and network operations
• Analysis and coordination of IT interfaces and architectural issues
• Development of solution options, decision‑making frameworks, and technical concepts
• Coordination of solution architecture, processes, and technical dependencies with IT
• Leadership and coordination of various initiatives in the areas of GIS and SAP
• Support for projects with a focus on maintenance and asset management

• Completed technical training with extensive SAP experience, or a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive practical experience with SAP systems, particularly in the area of maintenance / SAP EA
• Strong understanding of SAP objects, data structures, and data modeling
• Experience in requirements engineering and business analysis
• Practical experience in process analysis, process modeling (e.g., BPMN), and documentation
• Strong technical understanding of interface processes
• Basic knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
• Experience with common GIS solutions is a plus
• Experience in the S/4
  
  HANA environment, SAP certifications, or master data management is a plus
• Experience collaborating with business departments, IT teams, and technical specialists
• Excellent written and spoken German
