We are working with an established international business that is investing in its Oracle Cloud finance capability and looking for a senior Oracle Fusion Financials specialist to join its IT function. This is a permanent role working closely with Finance, FP&A and IT to shape and support the organisation's Oracle Cloud financial landscape.
You will be the link between the finance community and the technology team, turning business needs into well designed Oracle Fusion Financials solutions. Day to day you will own configuration and support across the core financial modules, support the month end, quarter end and year end close, and lead system integration and user acceptance testing through to go live. You will also produce functional designs, configuration documentation and test scripts, and support quarterly updates and production issues.
Part of the role sits at the meeting point of finance systems and control. You will work alongside Internal Audit, Compliance and IT Security to keep the Oracle environment aligned with SOX, IT general controls and wider governance, including hands on work with Oracle Risk Management Cloud such as the Security Console, Advanced Access Controls, Financial Reporting Compliance and Transaction Control.
Alongside this you will support integrations through Oracle Integration Cloud, train business users and drive continuous improvement across finance processes.
We are looking for someone with eight to ten years implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials and strong functional knowledge across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, Tax and Financial Reporting. Experience of SOX, IT general controls, segregation of duties and audit controls is important, along with working knowledge of Oracle Risk Management Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, Smart View, OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Center and REST based integrations.
