Our client is looking for an experienced EHS / Process Safety SME to support chemical API manufacturing operations. The role focuses on environmental assessment, process safety, and risk analysis within an operational production environment.
This position is not construction-oriented; the main emphasis is on ongoing operations, manufacturing processes, and plant safety.
Key Responsibilities- Support chemical API production from an EHS and process safety perspective
- Perform and maintain risk assessments and hazard analyses related to manufacturing operations
- Contribute to environmental assessments, compliance activities, and environmental protection measures
- Support process and plant safety for existing production units
- Participate in the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of operational risks
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and EHS teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS processes and operational safety
- 5+ years experience in similar role
- Background in chemical API production or chemical manufacturing
- Solid experience in risk analysis and process safety
- Experience in operational environments (manufacturing/process-focused rather than construction)
