Java Software Engineer

• Develop and further enhance business-critical Java applications
• Take technical ownership of backend components, interfaces, and integration solutions
• Contribute to solution design, architectural decisions, and cloud and Open Shift migrations
• Ensure a high level of software quality through Clean Code, automated testing, and code reviews
• Contribute across the entire lifecycle—from conception through operations and ongoing development
• Work collaboratively with our customers in a hybrid environment

• Completed higher education in computer science (HF, university of applied sciences, university, or ETH)
• At least five years of experience in professional software development projects
• Very strong knowledge of Java, ideally Java 17+, as well as Spring Boot or the Spring Framework
• Experience with REST APIs, SQL, relational databases, and automated unit and integration testing
• Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD, and Docker and Kubernetes or Open Shift
• Very good German and good English skills

Demonstrates expertise in Java application development, particularly with Java 17+ and Spring Framework, while ensuring high software quality through Clean Code practices and automated testing. Proficient in backend component ownership, solution design, and cloud migrations, with strong collaboration skills in hybrid environments.
