Software Engineer Development Platform & DevEx

In this role, you will help shape the future of software development at Swiss Post by creating and improving solutions that make software delivery easier, faster, and more reliable. With you, we create a modern developer platform that delivers sustainable value for our engineering teams.

Your Area of Responsibility

• You develop and continuously improve our internal developer portal based on Backstage.
• Additionally, you create application skeletons and templates that enable development teams to start new applications efficiently and bring in your expertise effectively.
• You build developer-facing tools and workflows using JavaScript/Type Script, Node.js, and modern web technologies.
• Furthermore, you integrate existing application stacks, particularly in Java and/or C# environments, and apply your know-how successfully.
• You develop and maintain tailor-made Git Hub Actions for our CI/CD environment and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Moreover, you collaborate closely with software engineering, Dev Ops, and platform teams and support them with questions related to platforms, tooling, and software delivery, allowing you to make a meaningful contribution.
• You monitor the developer experience continuously and implement improvements where needed.
