Maths Teacher – Northumberland
OverviewThe Maths Teacher role in Berwick-upon-Tweed involves teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils, with KS5 instruction desirable. You will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress, and foster a positive classroom environment. Collaboration with colleagues to develop the curriculum is required.
Responsibilities- Teach Maths to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
- Assess and track student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
Full‑time position offering a daily salary between £162.31 and £251.71, linked to your current teacher pay scale.
