Science Teacher – Berwick-upon-TweedKS3/KS4 | Immediate Start | Secondary School

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Berwick-upon-Tweed? Ripple Education is working with a secondary school in the area that is looking for a committed and confident Science Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4, with an immediate start. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils, deliver engaging Science lessons and contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
  • Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
  • Assessing progress and supporting pupils to achieve their potential
  • Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate
Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a UK school
  • The right to work in the UK
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete the appropriate checks
  • A minimum of two suitable professional references
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and your responsibilities when working with children and young people

  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
