Hourly Rate - £12.81

As a Store Colleague, you’ll play an important role in delivering a great in‑store experience every day, helping customers feel welcome, supported, and ready for their next adventure. You’ll bring energy to the shop floor by greeting customers confidently, keeping displays well presented, replenishing stock, and maintaining high service and presentation standards. With a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and a passion for helping people, you’ll keep the store running smoothly and reflect the high standards we’re known for.

This role is a fast‑paced retail environment ideal for learning new skills and building a strong foundation for your future career.

• Welcome customers with confidence and energy, offering friendly support and helping them find the right products for their needs.
• Use in‑store systems to check stock, share product options, and support the full customer journey.
• Maintain a clean, organised shop floor and replenished displays – ensuring they stay fresh and align with GO Outdoors standards.
• Support day‑to‑day store tasks, including till duties, restocking, and following all safety and store guidelines.

• A positive, enthusiastic approach suited to a fast‑paced, customer‑focused retail environment.
• Strong communication skills, confident engaging customers and working as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, take on new tasks, and develop skills in a supportive store environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and busy seasonal periods.
• A genuine passion for the outdoors and GO Outdoors product range.
• Proactive attitude, confident in approaching customers and supporting sales opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring the shop floor is always well presented and customer‑ready.
• Self‑motivated, with a desire to learn, improve, and progress within the business.
