Retail Assistant – Part Time

Hours:

20 hours across 4 days per week, permanently part time with a variety of shifts. Base pay depends on age: 16‑20 years £10.95 per hour, 21+ years £12.81 per hour.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy – juggling deliveries, till work, customer service and cleaning/stock rotation
• Reliable – a key part of a small team that others depend on for each shift
• A bit of flexibility with shifts; ability to cover for team members as needed (rota plans are made three weeks in advance)
