Work with Eden Valley Poultry as a Live Haul Truck Operator, responsible for the safe transport and welfare of live birds. This role requires a focus on quality standards and teamwork.
Eden Valley Poultry is hiring a Live Haul Truck Operator to join its team, ensuring safe handling of live birds and compliance with animal welfare procedures. Responsibilities include unloading and staging modules, maintaining cleanliness of equipment, and accurate documentation. Successful candidates will exhibit teamwork and a commitment to operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload live modules with a forklift safely
• Stage live bird modules according to scheduled loads
• Maintain and sanitize live haul trailers
• Complete necessary documentation and HACCP records
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices consistently
Requirements:
• Experience in poultry or manufacturing is advantageous
• Must hold a Class 1 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a team-focused setting
• Capability to lift up to 25 lbs as required
