Office Manager

With over 115 locations in 24 states and more than 1,900 employees serving 42,000 patients, we are seeking an Office Manager to provide strong administrative leadership and daily operational support under the Program Director’s guidance.
Job SummaryThe Office Manager oversees the administrative support department, maintains accurate patient and petty cash records, and potentially supervises Facility Maintenance and Security Guard positions. Responsibilities include supervising the administrative support team, managing patient fee collection, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to staffing decisions.
Responsibilities- Supervise and train the administrative support team.
- Validate patient identification and monetary status.
- Collect, account, and deposit patient payments.
- Assist patients with insurance forms and intake/discharge processes.
- Perform daily accounting duties using company computer programs.
- Develop and manage work schedules and weekly reports.
- Maintain patient charts, compliance tracking, and financial records.
- Schedule patient appointments with medical staff and participate in staff meetings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards and maintain confidentiality.
- Engage in outreach activities and support outreach programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of general office experience, one year as an office manager.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Basic accounting and data entry proficiency.
- Knowledge of confidentiality and information release protocols.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple tasks.
- Effective phone and in‑person communication.
- Vision adequate to read correspondence and computer screens.
- Prolonged sitting with occasional bending, stooping, and stretching.
- Manual dexterity for operating office equipment.
- Variable workload with periodic high stress.
- Standard medical office environment.
- Interaction with patients with various health and legal issues.
